EXPLORER L’EXISTANT COMME RESSOURCE ET MATIÈRE DE PROJET
This series explores how architects work with pre-existing structures, traces, and uses. Considered as a resource to be enhanced, a creative material, or an architectural ground in its own right, what already exists opens up new perspectives on the transformation and reuse of places.
For this second session, Stéphane Damsin, co-founder of the Brussels-based firm Ouest Architecture, and Antoine Trémège, project lead, will share their approach to practicing an architecture that is attentive to the city—its rhythms and its already-present forms.
